When we started our handyman business fourteen years ago, we saw a niche in the remodeling market for smaller
project and solutions-based renovation and repairs. We are proud that many of our clients have been with us
since the earliest days and we are grateful to each and every client who has joined us along the way. Although
only our name has changed, our excitement about inHome HANDYMAN SERVICES has reinforced out
commitment to exceed our client's expectation of quality, dependability, trust, and service.
Richard Ahlstrom
Richard Ahlstrom has over twenty six years of carpentry and remodeling experience and holds a B.F.A. in furniture design from the State University of New York, College at Purchase. Working as a carpenter in Northampton for many years on a wide range of projects, Richard's knowledge of home remodeling includes all phases of a project: planning, design, product knowledge, construction, and finishes. He joined his wife, Lisa, in the handyman business in 1997 and together they opened a company in January of 2000. Richard now spends his workdays meeting with clients, estimating jobs, and managing work production. He and Lisa live in Holyoke with their daughters Isabel and Mary Rose.
Lisa Ahlstrom
A Smith College graduate, Lisa Ahlstrom has over twenty four years of accounting experience, 16 of which are in the construction industry. Prior to working with Richard, Lisa owned a handyman service that opened in 1994. Lisa now divides her time between home and the office.
David Ritter
David Ritter has been applying his wide range of carpentry skills for over fifteen years. He enjoys a challenge, and excels at projects that require organization and attention to detail. He treats a client’s home as if it were his own (sometimes even better!). When he is not working with wood or tile, David spends time outdoors with his family, which includes his wife of twenty years, a son and a stepson, and two dogs.
